The Reno and District Firefighter's Pipe Band first started competing in the Spring of 2004. Our first competition took place during  the Woodland games in California. We only played one set out of two (our quick march medley), and we placed dead last. In the few short years since then we have come a considerable distance; we now compete in several venues throughout the west coast and we have also placed 2nd on numerous occasions. We even reached 1st place in our quick march medley in Woodland 3 short years after we were ranked dead last. Needless to say, the Reno and District Firefighter's Pipe Band has covered much ground since its founding, but the true potential of the band is still far from where it stands now. Every competition year we prove ourselves better to our judges, and there is no reason why the competition seasons in 2008 and beyond shouldn't be even better than the ones that precede them. We are gearing up with new students, new goals, new tunes, new practice methods, and the same great teaching talent that has lead our band to such great rankings, so expect to see a lot of progress out of us in the next few years to come.

The rest of this page shows our competiti0n results in various different tables and charts starting from our very first competition. Every competition that we have received a ranking for is displayed here. N/A either means that we did not compete in that competition that year or that we did not receive a ranking.

The following table displays our time limit medley competition results from 2004 onward.
